Review | Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack (Mask)

I love sleeping packs! For those of you who are unfamiliar with sleeping packs, they are basically face masks that you sleep in overnight. After using a sleeping pack, you wash off the residue the next morning to reveal a brighter, nicer face! I'm often times too tired or lazy to do a sheet mask as you actually have to wait for it to dry and that adds on to the "going-to-bed" routine. In that sense, sleeping packs are great because they help you save time in your nightly routine. The Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack was one of the first sleeping packs that I've ever tried and my obsession with sleeping packs just grew from there.

Packaging: Screw top container, 80 ml or about 2.71 oz

Sorry about the dust! Should have seen it before taking the photo...

Pricing / Purchasing: $12-$15, depending where you purchase (see links below)

Usage Tips:
  • Do not put sleeping packs on your mouth or lips! It is not intended to be a lip-balm.
  • Do not put this particular one around your nose if you are sensitive to the fermented grape smell (wine-esque) small, plus it will clog up your nose if it gets too close.
  • I don't recommend using a sleeping pack for hot days. This is because often times, sleeping packs are use to impute moisture on your face, so if its hot then you just end up sweating your mask off such that your mask doesn't dry and you end up feeling all sticky.

Color / Consistency: The mask is white but when you massage / spread it onto your fact it turns clear. It is also of thick consistency. A fun thing to note - this sleeping mask is a smart cookie. And by that I mean that when you scoop some out, it moves to fill up the hole you just made to look completely smooth the next time you open the container. It seriously becomes as smooth as a baby's bottom. It's seriously magic.

Scent: Smells like wine or like a wine spritzer. If you do not like the smell of wine or other alcoholic products, then I don't recommend this sleeping mask for you.

Pros:
  • Face feels really moisturized after use - this will be a great mask for the upcoming winter months
  • Skin feels brighter and less dull
Cons:
  • The thick consistency means it dries up less quickly on your face than other sleeping packs, so you have to be careful if you lie down right after putting the mask on since some of it might get onto your pillow

Hopefully the weather will cool down in the city such that I can start using sleeping packs again!

  1. I love this product, thanks for introducing it to me! Makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated, and the smell is fun. Sometimes I forget to wash it off in the morning (lol) because it dries so nicely.
