Oh god my hands look so old.....*sigh* |
Scent: Smells a bit perfumed...I'm not really sure how to described it but it smells sort of like charcoal + perfume. Overall a nice smell.
Usage Tip(s):
Usage Tip(s):
- Foam cleansers are highly effective at removing dirt and oil and it is common for you to feel skin tightness after use so be sure to MOISTURIZE liberally.
- If you feel like your skin has been incredibly dry, I do not recommend using foam cleansers in general. Instead, use a gentler gel cleanser like Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser (review to come).
Pros:
- Mild cleansing effect, in other words, your face feels clean without feeling tight - sometimes foam cleansers can be incredibly harsh as they are just a bit overly effective in removing dirt and oil. It is important that some of the oil be kept on your face otherwise, your glands will start producing more oil.
- Smells nice
- Absorbs facial oil / sebum leaving your skin nice and matte
- Exfoliating effect with the volcanic beads
Cons:
- Honestly none! Maybe that it runs out?
Overall rating: 4.5 / 5.0
High recommend for someone wanting to try a foam cleanser for the first time - especially for those with normal or combination skin because it is pretty gentle for a foam cleanser and has exfoliating beads. This is the type of foam cleanser that I like to use as a backup for those bad skin days and I want something I know that delivers consistent results.
