Beauty | Fall / Winter Skincare Wishlist 2015
I'm looking to change up my routine since the winter has been giving me really dry skin. So now may be a good time to get some new items... Here are some products that I have been considering or are on my wish list!

$11/set |
1. Tony Moly It's Real Masks - I first saw these at the Tony Moly store up on the 32nd street K-Town location (between Broadway and 5th Avenue) and thought the packaging was super adorable. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by how many mask sheets there exist out there, but after deciding between Innisfree's It's Real Squeeze Masks, I decided that the Tony Moly masks seem to target more of what I wanted to improve with my skin - skin purifying, clearing, etc. Plus I was really curious about the skin benefits of the makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice liquor. Tony Moly is a more "Americanized" Korean skincare brand - you can find their sheet masks at Sephora and Ulta, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing it from those places, since they charge around $3.25 per mask. If you buy it on amazon or on eBay, as I do, you can get each mask for around $1 per mask which is definitely much more economical!

2. CNP Laboratory Anti-pore Black head Clear Kit (10 Treatments) - I have been really obsessed with skincare for my nose lately - the blackheads on there are more apparent than usual. This is on the pricey side for only 10 treatments, but I've read great things about it not clearing just bad blackheads, but the smaller, tougher pores. I'm deciding between this and the Cosrx Best Box set from Wishtrend, especially for the non salicylic acid based BHA blackhead toner. I'm particularly curious about that toner because I have never seen a BHA product that was not based from salicylic acid. I will probably end up purchasing the Cosrx BHA toner just because I am running out of toner.

3. Su:M Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick (80 ml) - I call this a facial cleansing chapstick from how it looks. I purchased this because of the many rave reviews from skincare enthusiasts and am beyond excited to use it. It is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, which is great because it is on the pricier side. The product is quite high quality - you can see these beautiful rose petals throughout the stick! This would make a great gift! I will post a detailed post when do a through review.

4. Mamonde Lotus Micro Mild Foam (175 ml) - Right now I have a lot of foam cleansers that I need to use up first before I move over to this product. Hye Mi runs an amazingly informative skin blog at Sun Hye Mi - her blog is the first ever blog I went to when I got started on Korean skincare. She highly recommends this brand, even though it is not as popular as some of the other Korean skincare brands. In particular, she described this product as not leaving that tight feeling that you get after using many other Korean cleansers. I think I'm going to love this cleanser because I love the Innisfree Jeju Pore Volcanic Cleanser. That Innisfree cleanser cleans the face without making the skin extremely tight and if this cleanser eliminates that tight, dry skin feeling, then I think this would be perfect for use in the winter. Note, there are two version of this cleanser - one for sebum control (pink) and the other not (blue). Another similar Mamonde cleanser that I'm looking at is the Mamonde Rose Water Bubble Foam (150 ml). If you are going to purchase either of these, both of these cleansers can be purchased for about $15 from a Korean seller on eBay as opposed to the $28+ on Amazon.

5. Innisfree Eco Science Eye Cream (30ml) - I have horrible dark circles from my early mornings getting up to go to work and my late nights studying and I firmly believe you're never too young to start anti-aging care. However, I'm going to hold off on purchasing the Innisfree Eco Science Eye Cream since it is on the pricier side. I'm going to try out the Skinfood Brightening Eye Cream (~32 ml) instead. It is more budget friendly at only a third of the price of the Eco Science and since this will be my first official foray into eye creams, I want to try out an eye cream at the more affordable range.
